Default ls vtec question

OK so i was told i have to go 10 over on my cylinder walls and i wanted to know, whats the biggest bore i can go with using a block guard. and should i stick with the b16 Pistons i originally had or should i use some other tyPe of Pistons

If you have to go .10 over, then you need new pistons... and the block guard... I dont think those are a good idea.

no what im saying is, as far as decency goes, should i stay with the b16s or get different ones

The b16 (p30) has a nice dome on it makes for some good compression on a NA build.

o ok well im running pr3's right now. any difference in height differences between those and the p30's or basicly the same?

Biggest bore on stock sleeves recommended is 82mm.

Do .20 over if you plan on just doing a complete rebuild at least

Depending on the crank use. Boring to 82mm and using a ls crank will put your block at a 1.92 Liter motor.
