Ok well i just purchased a used DC header for my d16z6. I bought it from a HT member on here. I want to install right now but have one doubt. Does anyone know if the o2 sensor reaches the new DC location. At the bottom back by block. Or do i need a extension? I want to know before i remove it right now. I dont want to get stuck doing it, its my only car.

You don't need the o2 sensor hooked up. I bought a 4-2-1 DC Sports Header from a fellow HT member here no long ago and the problem I had was the o2 wire not being long enough. All you will get is a check engine light and less MPG. You can find extension wires at passwordjdm.com or google it. I have yet to fix it.

 

I fixed it. I ripped apart the loom where the wires go(o2,ect,reverse light,etc). And pulled back the o2 wire and hooked it up perfectly. So...so much for that. You should have done that yourself too. I figured it out.

 

Eh, I don't have a garage. So I can't even work on my car. The header was to replace my cracked y8 header.
