Default antifreeze problem.......

i have del sol si and it keeps on getting low on antifreeze. it started to happen after my heater core started to leak, but i bypassed those 2 hoses so i know it isnt from the heater core. And plus i have all new heater hoses on.

so where else could the leak be coming from?

First, you have to find out if your coolant is LEAKING out of your motor , or leaking into your motor via head gasket into a cylinder. Simply take some engine cleaner, I like using the purple stuff, clean everywhere, top and bottom with the cleaner, inspect, drive a little or a lot and looks for leaks , drips, fresh coolant. Check out side the water pump area close. If things are clean and dry, most likley, its an internal leak. Pull your spark plugs and check for one that is real clean and maybe completly white like a brand new plug on one side. Water into the comustion chamber will really cut the carbon out. just my 2$....
