heres the story, i have a gsr head i am seeling whole or parting out. when i first got this, i was told the exhaust side came is a CTR, i dont know to tell the difference so please help me out.

not sure what we are supposed to go by, you didnt take ny pictures of the codes on the cams, only thing i can say is they look badly worn

yea i saw that they are ctr cams, well at least the exhaust is...

what codes on the cams? i've looked and i didnt see any stamps anywhere. and if they are labeled, why do people count the grooves on the dizzy side of the EX cam?

 

nvm, Intake side is ITR and exhaust is CTR

 

my cams say EX on them on the side of the cam seal

intake looks like like itr/ctr but exhaust is gsr you can tell by the grooves on the piece that is raised

 

to be honest, i have no damn idea, typically thats a cam code, but i dont know anything about honda cam codes yet as ive only been on the scene for 3 months

 

i've searched alot on the net and sure enough the exhaust is a CTR, and the intake is an ITR...so im selling them $70 for the set tomorrow.

 

Trust me, that is a CTR/98+ JDM ITR Intake cam and a GSR exhaust cam. Not a chance that exhaust came is CTR....and trust me, I've pulled apart 100+ heads in my time, so I have a pretty damn good idea what Im talking about here. Either way, I'll pay you $70 for them....
