Default how big can i go on stock sleeves

will im building my lsv and i have a b18b block and i want to go with bigger pistons how big can i go and be safe

on stock sleeves? stock. Its not recommended to bore out the stock sleeves at all, if you want bigger pistons you should sleeve the block.

wrong, you can safely bore it to 82mm

You can overbore to 81.5mm for a boosted application and as far as an 82mm for an NA setup

nahh. 81.25, honda only sells .25 O.S. pistons and rings...they have .25 over only for a reason.

so 82mm is good I'm going all motor looking to go with 11:5 pistons. so would you recommend a block guard to be safe

reduces cooling but helps with cylinder walk. they are not often used on NA builds. by the way there is no such thing as an 11:5-1 piston.l without the head cc and head gasket thickness it's a shot in the dark
