i just picked up an integra LS yesterday..overall very happy with the car. But when i was looking at the car at the time of the purchase i noticed the rear left tire was "crooked". Almost as if it was involved in some time of accident. I asked the owner about it but he had no knowledge (3rd owner, reseller). The car has a clean title and drives real good, it does however need an alignment. do you guys think an alignment will fix this? any suggestions or comments on what this can be greatly apreiciated. Thanks
Do you have any pics of what you are referring to by "crooked." I would suggest getting under the car to see if anything is bent or torn. Is the tire wearing funny at all?

learn how to take a pic...please back away and take a pic of the whole car straight not at an angle. if the car is lowered, the rear wheel maybe butterfly...and put your fake LV/Gucci bag away (kidding)
uh
agree w/ ^^^
as to not be an *******, i'll have a technical input
lowering your car could cause camber which looks like this / \
OR if you look at it FLAT ON front the top and your wheel goes like
\
/
could be TOE

don't take it to a mechanic for that job. just replace it yourself. learn a little about the car and how things work. you'll be proud of yourself. trust me.

Wats up H-T, its me again. Alright well 2day i went under the car to get a "Better" look at what was causing my "crooked" tire. While i was under the car for about 2hrs inspecting it and by the looks of it i think the car had some suspension work to the rear left side. I also took a better look at my sub frame and it looks like something pierced it, or maybe it was the little stock swaybar the car has , idk? i was thinking too that maybe the left suspension caused this "hole" due to the "shorter" lca and it might of pulled on the sub frame real hard on a sick turn. Well take a look at the pics and maybe i can get alittle help. i know it was alot of reading but i rly want to explain things the best i can to receive the right help. Any help greatly appreciated. thx again

reason i started thinking that the rear left LCA was shorter than the rear right side was because the LCA had a "LV4" stamp on it, and the rear right had a "9RV" stamp. Sorry if i mislead on this info, but im just trying to see whats causing my tire to toe out the way it does.
there is something seriously wrong. I dont think just an alignment is gonna fix that. Honestly, if you go to a reputable shop, they can tell you exactly whats wrong. of course their price quote is gonna be through the roof =[
did you ever see a history report? an alignment machine will tell you how much things are whacked, and something like a carfax may tell you if there was an accident reported to an insurance company or the police.
i don't know what LCAs look like without going outside and looking at mine. does the missing bolt make it seem like the LCA is different or just the bolt is missing? even with that hole in the subframe, the ends should line up unless the whole frame is twisted. it's not like the corner was replaced, that seems like just a hole in the car.

also, have you jacked up that corner of the car? does that wheel wobble when you spin it? your first slanty pic and the last one you posted don't look like they match.

The car has no accident history. its a clean title. never been in any type of MAJOR accident to my knowledge. When i first bought the car i inspected all of the car's frame and its not bent the only thing thats wrong with the car is that retarted left arm. So thats why i bought it thinking it might be an easy fix, and it might be i just need to know wats wrong with it. As for the pics, no sure wat you mean. its the same car, taken a week apart. theyre just from different angles.
