What steering wheel do you have in your ef?
I'm thinking of getting a new steering wheel soon, since the one in my hf has officially **** the bed. What wheels do you guys have? Pics would be cool, thanks.

YIKES! NOT GOOD!Anyway, I've got a Sparco Color2 wheel...matches the exterior of my car - perhaps very small portions of the interior in the future (stitching on reupholstered Si seats may be red when I get it done).
Alex
The Sparco looks nice, how does it feel in comparison to stock? It looks nice and cushy, and a little smaller. Is it reasonably priced, cuz after the swap I'm po.

I threw some pics on Imagestation. It's a Momo champion (or cometition - I always forget). Partial suede, which became unsuede quickly. Though the leather is different feeling than the other part of the wheel, and I like the difference in feel.
I really like it - smaller/thicker than stock, which is great. I've also got the the Teniq Auto snap-off system on it - nice byproduct is that the wheel's a little further out, which means that the stalks are a little more of a reach, which means no windshield wipers running when autoxing, which is always embarrassing.

what's the difference of an aftermarket wheel? well, for one, the feel different..
also, you can buy them in a smaller diameter which i feel helps control of the car easier..
plus, you can buy spacers for the hub to space the wheel closer to you, if you desire.
i have a sparco Lap 3, it's a 330mm wheel. i'll get a picture for you tonight.

Vice Grips.
No, actually it's the OEM wheel with what looks to be a big bite taken out of it on the top front of the wheel. I guess the girl that had it before me got hungry.

momo monte carlo..it's freakin tiny, but i like it. also had the stock si wheel, and a 90 prelude wheel, which i still have for sale, modified to fit civic/crx *wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what i mean?*
Haha.... not true.. Smaller diameter and no power steering makes it a lot tougher to turn quickly. You must exert more force to accomplish the same turn on a bigger diameter steering. You may turn "faster" but it takes much much more effort to turn.
I know cause I had a 13" steering on my RX7 and it was a bitch to park or turn abruptly. I switched it back to a 15" version and I was happy again.

But in blue and 12".
About the smaller diameter... steering response is increased immensely...but like BigDaddy said, at a price. More force is needed to drive the car in parking lots...
hey you guys with Momo or aftermarket steering wheels...Get those rings that go around the horn button. I think it works as a good theft deterrent and looks good cosmetically. Anyone can just pop the horn button and take your steering wheel out, even if you have "the club".
yeah, i wasn't talking about parking lots, though, i'm talking about track.. but you are right... sorry.. i'm stupid........
but hey, it builds arm muscles!!
