when i take corners really fast, or drive around in a tight circle fast my oil light comes on, does anyone know what might cause this. Sorry if my description is kinda vague, but its the best i can describe it.

 

Is your oil full? if not, fill it up!

 

oil light? Hmmm.....I think most people call it the replace engine light.....

 

just a word of advice ... if you want ppl to help u, you might want to let us know what car you drive (ie. what year)

 

its a 1993 SI.

 

it sure looks like a low oil problem. Especially if it happens in a corner.

umm, i had my oil light come on exactly twice...

1) I hit a piece of metal that put a quarter size hole in my oil pan...yep, light came on.

2) I rattled the drain plug loose on the oil pan from running an open header...oil light came on again...luckily i had a spare plug and a short walk to the house, whew! using threadlocker now on the plug

 

i got an 88 integra and whenever my oil is low and i take a hard turn or stop hard, then my oil lamp flashes. u just need to fill it up.

 

is it just me or do people know they're supposed to fill up their gas tank when the gas light comes on, but as soon as the oil light comes on its rocket science?
