hey guys i have a couple things i need cleared up for my build that i thought you guys could help with. i have a 94 gsr which is obd1. i bought a obd2 gsr swap out of a 96 integra gsr to put in my car. i know that i need to get an obd1 ecu but i tried plugging in the harness into my car and all of the plugs worked except for one and i was hoping that someone might know what this plug is.

the plug that doesnt fit is the smallest one on the passenger side. the plug coming from the car has two wires coming from it and the one from the engine harness has three wires. can anyone tell me what this plug is??

You use the harness that was on the Obd 1 motor. Plug that up to new motor.

 

and then swap the injectors, dizzy and I believe the Voltage Regulator Module on the alt also has a different connector , then it should be pretty much plug and play there may be a couple others that you may need to splice or change

 

Ya that wouldn't be a problem but the car didn't come with a obd1 harness so all I have is the obd2 harness

 

it goes intothe intake itself. on obd 1 mototrs it goes into the intake manifold, i had the same problem with this on my eg

 

post pics. OBD2 harness is normally a direct plug in at the shock tower plugs.
