Icon3 problems with ecu and wiring up vtec

hey i have a 96 spec jdm itr motor in my coupe.. I was throwing a few codes when i did the swap. one of them was for a pressure switch. On jdm r motors there is no pressure switch. So to get rid of the code i wired from the solenoid to where i had the switch pinned in my ecu when i was running a d16z6 and it fried the capacitor. Im getting another chipped ecu and i also have a rywire vtec jumper. Im gunna try this again so any tips would be GREAT! Hopefully someone can walk me through it thanks!!

Well, if you are getting a chipped ECU, just have them DISABLE VTEC pressure. Problem solved. No jank wiring reqiured.
