Default News: Nicky resigned to Marlboro Ducati, Spies to Motogp?

Got this from one of the more up-to-date forums.

First one is from SuperbikePlanet which is reliable 99.9% of the time. Nicky resigned with Ducati Factory (with Stoner, too!)--->http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2009/Sep/090903b.htm.

The second one is from a site called GpOne.com and it's reliability is questionable...Spies to Yamaha MotoGP team in 2010--->http://74.125.45.132/translate_c?hl=...sJ5TV7Jv9pxb8w.

Either way, I'm stoked Nicky will be with Ducati again. Maybe they'll work with him more now that Casey's on hiatus. Thoughts?

yeah thats great news for Nicky and fans in itself. Finally got the bike setup the way he wanted it, so late in the year. But that was expected!! other than stoner, who else can handle the Ducati. glad he will be back to test out and get more familiar with his bike.

as for spies, i read that too. Kinda hard to believe till we see it. With what Yamaha team, who knows. Lorenzo just re-signed with Fiat along with Rossi. team up with Edwards???

Yea, it's good news for Nicky. Glad to see him on the podium at Indy as well.

As for Spies, I'd really rather see him in WSBK for one more year. The 2-race format and close competition is great, as is having an American running in the top ranks for us.

You scared me for a second with "resigned"! I read it as the past tense of resignation. Anyway, that's awesome news for Hayden and for all of us fans. Also nice to read the kind words from Ducati about commitment and passion etc.

Great news, I really like Hayden.

On other news, this week at Misano Dovi will run Ohlins suspension, instead of Showas.

First Ten Kate and now Repsol Honda to Ohlins. I better start saving my shekels :D

Why has it taken NH so long to develop the bike? Are his mechanics a bunch of second stringers or does he have trouble translating his twang to something the engineers can understand? Discuss

I think casey has that bike set up so awkwardly that everyone has trouble adapting to it. Melandri, who IS a solid rider, could barely turn a lap on the thing.

Its strange that a team would setup two bikes using only the alpha rider's notes. I would think that they'd develop the bikes separately to fit each rider's preference. Comfort = speed right?
