Default Has anyone ever done this set up?

I am new to honda-tech and was wondering if anyone could help me out with a couple of things. First off i have a B16A2 in a 90 DA with a S80 tranny, and some things are not matching up. For instance like the motor mounts and the cable to hydro conversion. I was just wondering if anyone has done this set up before and if so could someone please give me some pointers?

Ive never seen a B16A2 with an S80 tranny, as for the mounts, aftermarket mounts are very adjustable. ( If you mean that the stock mounts are not lining up). They also eliminate the front mount. Innovative are a good brand. like 75 track should do.

Are you using the 90-91 rear T bracket and the part of the driver's side mount that actually bolts to the engine?

im using the innovative mounts and the transmission mount is not sitting right and the cable to hydro mount is not allowing me to put my fan back in place and the cable is not reaching. i know i should of been more in depth but i was in a hurry the other day sorry, im thinking about taking the transimission mount out and fitting it to where it will work but i was just making sure with anyone else who has maybe done this before that they ran into the same problem as me. i will up load some pics later of the cable to hydro kit so i can see if its the one to be using.

I am actually doing the same swap but with a gsr. I'm not having any problem with the cable and the conversion kit. But I did get the wrong tranny top mount(got one for b series hydro into Ef cable) I am going to pick up the right on from innovative to day. Post some pics for us to help. Btw, I am using the stock Da post mount, and the rear T bracket which I had to drill the holes out to fit the bolts for the S80 tranny.

Are you sure it wasn't converted to manual? Cuz the bracket on the frame where the motor mount bolts up to looks looks nothing like the 5 speed bracket. And it looks like the mount from the plate where it goes to the tranny needs to be longer to where it bolts to the chassis. The b series hydro to auto Da looks like the right one

Install the mounts on the chassis first. Then everything will line up.

Does it look like the end of the tranny is hitting the chassis? Or do I need glasses? Damn, I'm just old.

It also looked like your mount is rotated up, so if it was rotated down in the correct position and had a couple hundred pounds on it, it would be just fine.

Install the mount 1st. It will make it "slide" Right in...then again nothing slides right it with cars unless you are jesus christ. Haha But really, its a bitch if you dont bolt the mount down 1st
