Default HIGH RPM on my 94 Honda Accord swap a 94 H22.

I need some help, I'm burning a lot of gas on my Honda Accord swap a H22. On the high way I'm going about 60 mph. I'm at 3,500 RPM. I think somewhere close to that. I'm also using the same ECU from the same motor in the H22 swap that into my Honda Accord. Can someone help me please. Thanks for your time.

That's approximately what the RPMs should be at assuming you used the H22A transmission.....

Bro, with my H22 swap, after tuning etc... I am getting like 7mpg. The kicker is that I have to use premium fuel. Its part of the swap, especially when you start to mod it.

I was still managing between 21-28 with the H22A.

7 mpg? Are you freaking kidding me? You either have serious problems, are you need to learn to use more than just 1st and 2nd gear.

If a Prelude gets 20+ mpg with an H22, why should an Accord get less? Late model Preludes weighed more than 4th and 5th gen Accords, and about the same as 6th gen Accords.

My 8000 lb work truck, carrying a 10,000 lb load did better than 7 mpg.

I got one better...I'm pushing roughly 30-35mpg with my H22A swap in a 92 Accord.

Certainly do-able depending on the transmission.

F22 transmission or H23 transmission would easily net you higher MPG. The H22A transmission not so much due to gearing.

Thats what I'm getting with a JDM Prelude trans. (M2B4) and I'm also tuned on Hondata which makes a world of diff. as well.

I have to admit that I have a heavy foot when I'm driving which might be one of the reasons why i get shitty gas mileage, but then I also have a lot of internal engine motor parts/upgrades which have killed my gas mileage and after the tuning my gas mileage took a further nose dive but my car hauls *** as the trade-off. I also don't drive it very often either, it sees 1000 miles a year of driving max, if i do its always stop and go, never on the highway too. No joke though.
