Icon5 H22 civ4dr project

ok well here are the pics project SIR4dor H22swap

First I started off with a virgin un**cked civic foor door. Its a 92 civic LX

I wanted to find an 94 EX 4 door but i have a budget so my budget is about 5gs ok so I found the car in DE and its auto but the body is clean and it hasnt been unriced out and i got the car not running for 500 bucks its alil dirty but a start

So now its time to pull the interior out and clean everything seats and all

now everything is outta the way its time to start the 5spd conversion
doing a full 5spd pedal swap and cluster. So now to remove the tired old motor

trying to get my weight up with the huge DS axle lol

motors half way out
motorsout took me a few hours but i had to be nice since im saving alot of parts like the ac system

After I power washed it and cleaned it up so next time to drill out the PS spot welds on the motor mount since its being converter it to a manual. and Gotta make room for the Innovate Mounts

SO now time to order all the parts

And a few other thing I havent taken pics of I will take tomorrow
such as IE egr block off header and chipped ECU (thanks to my buddy ben wiring king) and not to forget the suspenion morepics tomorrow stay tuned!

New inner and outter tie rods and boots

new all skunk2 suspenion

Got rid of that ugly auto cluster and swaped it with a 5spd one

5spd pedal swap was a pain in a** the had to drop the steering wheel and half of under the dash lol but its def worth it to do it the right way

And yes I will be remounting the main relay just got done sweating my a** off

Ok now i drilled out all the spot welds and welded the holes shut and grinded it down and painted over it now its time for the Innovative H22 manual conversion mount

Here's the new mount and how it looks on the frame it says to thur bolt it but Im going to weld since I plan to keep the H22 enginein this car

rear motor mount

Now the DS motor mount on the engine

EGR block off

I took the butterflys out for now untill we get a real intake manifold

ill keep updating the more when I get done puttin the motor in soon

Here's the beast of a motor going in and yes I will be repainting the valve cover *red wrinkle* and the egay header lol I know the harness isnt the prettiest but Ive recently started to make my own harnesses and its been going well. I do everything from building engine to the wiring lol only thing I hate is body work lol

i normally don't like H series swaps in civics, there are just too many of them hacked up out there, but if you're plans are to put it in just like it came from the factory, keeping the AC and power steering, then that is definitely cool in my books for what it's worth.

Also, i checked out alot of your other projects, very nice work you've done

what broken rotor? you mean the cap I know thats how it came when i went to pick it up at the JDM engine Zone I got the motor trans harness and rear t bracket for only $1500 cash. Hmmm thanks for the info about the PS pump ill think of something.... Ya think like a large JDM hood prop might help in stead of 3/4' i can do like 1 1/2'maybe might help....?
I know it sounds kinda crappy but if i have to ill put a little scoop there kinda like the old turbo 300zs .....sumtin small Id rather have a small scoop then a bump cause it would like a DSM and I dont want that lol. Even though ive built a DSM i hate the way there hood is.

what ya think stupid??
