Ok im workin on switchin my friends car from automatic to 5 speed and i have a question. My main concern is the sensor on the clutch pedal the harness under the dash of the automatic does not have the plug for that sensor on the pedal would this cause the car not to start because the sensor isn't reading at all or is my problem elsewhere???Please help....

 

no that would just mean that you would not have to hold the clutch down to start the car. The wires that would normally go to the clutch switch go to the console shifter on autos. There's 2 fat wires on the harness that you have to jump together to make it like the clutch is being pressed when starting the car.
