Default 99 Prelude lowering without camber kit?

I just had a question pertaining to my 99 lude, I just bought some d2 racing coilovers and on the sale picture it showed a camber adjustment built in with the top hat, i didn't really think much about it til i got my coilovers and there was no top hat camber adjustment and did some research and finding out that preludes cant use a top hat camber adjustment, anyways now knowing i'd have to spend another $200-400 for camber kits, does anyone know if I'd be able to get away without using any camber kit? Or is it a must? I have a few friends with lowered civic's/integra's who say they never use any camber kits and just get their vehicle aligned and its good to go, how true is when applied to a prelude? Do I need a camber kit to get my vehicle properly aligned without having uneccesary tire wear?

Only up front. Rear is spec'ed at a slight amount of toe in.

The alignment tech will have access to the OEM alignment parameters. Either tell him "OEM toe" or "0 toe", personal choice there.

Thanks, I read the thread that trang_man posted, I was wondering if anyone thought I'd have problems with tires wearing on the inside being on 45 series tires? I read that someone said 40series would most likely have inside wear, and also that a 50 series would most likely not, so where does a 45 series land? inside wear or evenly wear? lol

I honestly don't know because I'm running on stocks.
But if you search around, I believe you should be in the middle of the two.

I would worry less about the tire aspect ratio, than the total amount of sidewall on the tire. A 205/40-16 has less sidewall than a 225/40-16, for example.

I think not too many people actually understand just how confusingly tires are sized...
millimeters/ratio/inches; Who thought that was a good idea?

I also wouldn't worry unless the alignment shows a very large camber value (high negative reading). No personal experience with lowering a Prelude, but it shouldn't have massive camber without a significant drop.

Ya I dont think my suspension can go all that low, I dont even think its able to go down to 3". I think 2.5" is the most, I could be wrong though. Again Its d2 Racing btw.
