This is the Integra forum.

Of those sizes, only 205/50-15 is close to correct for an Integra. The rest are too small in diameter.

195/55-15 is the correct size. 205/50-15 is actually smaller in diameter.

If you want to see pictures of smaller tires, head into the suspension forum and look through the slammed thread. Many people run the smaller sizes for clearance reasons. Older Civics run 195/50-15s.

all the different tires will look different.. some have higher sidewalls.. from what ive seen. some 50 series tires "look" taller than others.. depends on brand.

Here is a set of 205/50/15 Falkens on my car. I run them strictly in the back (see power in sig) because i have a set of 225/50/15 BFG Drags up front now...

Then you want to buy tires in the correct size, unless you have a very specific need to deviate from it.

Schister66 is running drag radials up front, so I'm assuming its a rather high powered car and that he knew that running those would change his gearing, reduce acceleration (less of a concern with high power), throw his speedometer and odometer off, etc... Specific need to deviate.

205/50-15, 195/55-15, or 225/45-15 are all acceptable. Most tires don't come in all of those sizes, so pick the tire you want and run the size (of those listed above) that it happens to come in.

If you want tire model suggestions, go into the wheel / tire forum and post your needs (budget, desired use, etc).

Yes, you can use either 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.

Quick recommendations:

All-season tires - Unless you sometimes drive to snowy mountains to go skiing, you don't need all-seasons. (Those who do, consider the Kumho ASX in either size, or the Goodyear Eagle GT in 195/55-15.)

Longer-lasting summer tires - If you want a tire that's reasonably priced and still lasts a while (20-40K miles) and gives decent performance, I recommend the Yokohama S.drive. It comes in both sizes but I recommend the 195/55-15 because it's significantly cheaper than the 205/50-15.

Really sticky summer tires - If you don't mind spending a bit more for a tire that won't last quite as long (figure 15-20K miles), I recommend the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec, which comes in 195/55-15. Another good choice is the Kumho Ecsta XS, which comes in 205/50-15, but it's not quite as good in rain as the Star Spec.
