Fell asleep at the wheel, results inside.
Was driving home from a buddies house last night about 4 am (wasn't drinking). I made it 2 blocks from my house and fell asleep running up a curb hitting a mailbox and a bush.
Here is the aftermath.

Besides the obvious body work required I need to get a new intercooler and 1 of the pipes is bent...
What do you guys think about the wheel? Repairable?
Is this JDM front end time? lol if so... what is required for the swap besides what comes in the full front end kit. Any fab work needed?

for the jdm front end...you have to swap out the usdm for a jdm radiator support or you can just do a t-bar which is easier
I wouldn't, simply because the JDM front has no where near the same impact protection. We got a different Integra front end to pass US crash standards (just like the Fit did)...
Of course, its your life, your car, and your money, so do as you wish. Just throwing out my $0.02.

Could have been worse, glad to hear you're alright. A buddy of mine fell asleep at the wheel in his old K1500 and wound up in a telephone pole. He was alright, but the truck was totaled....only a few weeks after we finished a swap : /.

Accident doesn't look that bad. I think you should just repair it, maybe a new fender if needed.
If that happen to a JDM front end, that **** would look much worst.

to my knowledge like i mentioned previously... u only have to cut the upper tie bar so u can utilize it for proper fitment of the hood latch, and headlights.... you're not changing the bumper reinforcement or fender aprons... so i believe you do not have to worry about losing structural integrity much, or any at all

And from the looks of the jdm bumper support, it will not hold up in an impact compare to the usdm.

I say just fix it and keep the 98+ front. Funny thing is when my wife hit a deer with my dc my fender bent back just like urs did but it didn't do anything to the bumper lol. That sucks man hopefully it turns around for ya.
To the other poster, do you really think the TE37 is repairable? The body shop doesn't think so and has already ordered another from tirerack. Once the tire is taken off we are going to see if it is salvagable too but it looks like the bead is bent.
Damn dude.. that sucks *****.. Hey I used to work at Jaylees Honda and I belive I've seen your car come in for an oil change a while back. You've got a very nice setup going on there keep us posted when you got everything worked out.
Yep that was me there a few months ago. I will for sure post pictures when its done.
lookin good... i'd go lower, but its not a necessity. so exactly what did it take to get the jdm frontend? headlights bumper fenders and hood obviously. wat else? looks like all the panels align perfect
Thanks, this was a very expensive lesson learned. The front end did require all that was mentioned, some welding for the core support (I think) and some conversion harnesses for the headlights which were purchased through passwordjdm. The wheel was not repaired I purchased another set of TE37s and have 1 extra with 2 others mounted on Hoosier DOT drag radials for the summer.
