A couple of intercoolers...
Here are 2 intercoolers I just finished up today for a local guy.
He is running a 2nd Gen Dodge Viper with twin 76mm T6 turbos
He will be going for 2000hp.
The intercoolers are twin sidemount (mount right under each headlight)
Cores are from Bell Intercooler's they measure 4.5" thick 13" long by 10" deep and each are rated to 1000hp.

Some may remember him, he is my old customer Doctor Robert, whom we did a complete H23 Vtec Topmount gt40 Turbo kit for several years ago and made 760 hp.
He has since upgraded his ride just a tad

Yes and I am just learning to use the thing lol
I have been playing the the settings like crazy and seems that every time I make a change the welds come out just a little better.
The bottom 3 pictures were done at 400hz frequency pulsing at 3 pulses per second 150 amps electrode negative 70 amps electrode positive 75% balance soft wave
I will be doing alot of test practice welds with it this weekend to dial in some numbers that I really like and I will program them in so I dont forget lol.
I ordered some gas lens for the torch today it is a "super cool" 18 apparently there is a differnce in 18 model torches, mine being rated at 400 amps 100% duty cycle has alot of special parts that my welding store had to special order from Cincinnati for me. All of these welds were done with just a collet body setup not a gas lens, flow as set at 25 cfh.

You guys have a 10,000 dollar welder but you won't buy a bead roller for a few hundred bucks? They are very important but I suppose the welded area will suffice.
We were just going to get a 350 Dynasty but our loan company wouldn't give us anything less than 10k so we went for the 700 and got an extra bottle of argon while we were at it.
We rarely ever do any charge pipes or anything else that would justify spending a couple of hundred dollars on a bead roller... From personal experience with my own race car years ago bead rolls are worthless as I never had a blow off at 35+psi of boost with no lip what so ever, all it takes is good fitment, some decent quality t bolt clamps and silicone couplers and your set...
However now that we have the 700 there is no way we would trade it for a 350 and the difference in price, that extra power really comes in handy

WP-18SC, SuperCool High Capacity Torch
Weldcraft's SuperCool 18® TIG Torch Eliminates Overheating and Improves Performance
To eliminate overheating common with 18 series 350 amp water-cooled torches, Weldcraft introduced the Super Cool 18® TIG torch. Rated at 400 amps, The SuperCool 18 features a patented water-cooling chamber head design to provide full-flow water cooling that prevents the torches front-end parts from overheating.
The heavy-duty "nose" collet body threads directly into the front of the torch bodies patented water chamber, cooling water flows down, around and up the entire length of the torch head. This design enhances cooling capacity of the torch and eliminates collet and collet body overheating, softening and twisting, especially when welding heavy aluminum alloy with AC current. Optional gas lens are available to improve gas coverage for the most demanding jobs. The Super Cool 18 uses tungsten electrodes in sizes up-to- 3/16" (4.8mm) for high amp continuous AC TIG welding applications.
Weldcraft® WP-18SC Specifications
* Amperage 400 DCSP maximum, 100% duty cycle
* Water-cooled body 70º head angle, mechanical type hose connections
* Electrode capacity .040" (1.0mm) to 3/16" (4.8mm)
* Torch body weight 7oz. (226g)
* Torch length 7" (177.8mm)
* Handle diameter 1-1/16" (41.2mm)
* Water flow 1qt./min. (0.946 L/min.)
* Maximum pressure 50 psi (3.448 BAR)
That is the W18SC torch that is a pita to get Gas lens for.

There is the link to the gas lens, 15$ a pop... I will remember not to weld any crap popping metal with them at that price tag....
Actually the collet body setup flows perfectly fine for root pass on stainless, and great for aluminum and mild steel but for doing a cap pass on stainless I will need to run gas lens keep the pretty colors that everyone loves so much...
To bad the auto industry would **** bricks if things were to be wire finished with zero coloration at all. I would get a big slap on the wrist if I was welding for oil company and they got anything from me with colors on the welds lol
