My friend has a set of buddy club spec 3 cams. I was wondering if there just a drop in on my b16a he will also give me spring and retainer if i get it off of him. It also has cam gears are they suppost to be dailed in, if so what are the setting?

I remember reading a long time ago that they are drop in for CTR's and ITR's.
Both of these heads have the dual valve springs on Intake and Exhaust cams.
These cams will need to be tuned on a dyno. Just setting cams will get you started but more work is needed to get the most out of them.

 

They are healthy cams for a B16. A tune is always a must.

 

Ok so i finally got the cams but he got rid of the vavle spring. Can i just drop these cams in with STOCK vavle train and stay at stock rev.

 

i would atleast upgrade to type r valvetrain, b16 valvetrain only has dual valve springs on the intake side
