they all have a crank angle sensor on their distribuitor..... the crank angle sensor its made out of two individual sensors.... the CYL sensor and the TDC sensor. The CYl sensor detects the position of the #1 cil as the base of the sequential fuel injection system. The TDC sensor determines the inyector timing for each cylinder, as well as sendint the ECU the engine speed signal.....

 

im plannig on doing a 96 SOHC VTEC swap and was wondering abou thtat sensor...but since im using the crx intake manifold, ecu, distributor, and wiring i wouldnt have to worry about the crank angle sensor on the block because its in the distributor already, right???
