Default Buying a new Civic

My Limit is around 15k.

From all you Civic owners, what are some options that I should look out for? Some things I shouldn't get? how can i get the most out of the money i'm willing to spend? how much mileage does the new civics have on gas these days?

Thanks

If you don't mind used, then get a certified pre-owned. It's really up to you to decide which model you need. Most people here are heavily biased toward the Si model, rightfuly so

Your not gonna get a "new" civic for 15k.. new ones go for around $20k. You can probably get a used one for around that price.. make sure you test drive it, and a certified pre-owned would be the best way to go since you at least get some kind of warranty.

Well considering the base price for the Civic is 15,300 for the DX you won't have too many options if you can get one out the door.

Since the 2010's are now out on Honda.com you could get insanely lucky and pay 15k out the door, but it will be the lowest model and you won't get any accessories.

i'd up the price to 20k or look at used. I could be underestimating your ability to haggle people, but its a tall order.

Navi, navi, and more navi.

And for 15k your best bang for the buck would be a certified pre-owned Civic Si. If you really don't care if its manual or automatic, weather its sporty or not, just get a Civic EX with navigation.

Why not buy an EP3? You can get them for less than 15k and in awesome condition.

the ep3 should've never been made; it's slower and uglier than the si it replaced .
