Valve Seals????
I've heard that you're able to put valve seals in without taking the whole head apart. If there is can anyone give me quick easy steps. My friend is a mechanic but doesn't know how to do it and he said if I gave him instructions from somewhere he would attempt it.
My car was misfiring a lot and opened up the engine found one of the valves broken on cylinder 4 so I replaced all of the cylinder 4 valves and the guy who installed my valves (not my friend) didn't put the valve seals on I'm guessing.... Could that be why it leaks oil? I bet so Im just double checking heehee Im not real familiar with cars just yet im trying to learn.

Well there's this guy that lives here in AR he's really into honda's they call him turbo ty I called him the other day he told me theres a way to do it without taking the head off but lately he's been too busy to give me the instructions on how to do it. So im wondering if anyone here knows how to do that. He has his own s2k also.
you can replace the seals by adding air to the cylinder via a compressor air line.
the air keeps the valve from falling and that way and you take apart and compress the valve spring, retainers and, valve keepers to get to the seal underneath.

Replacing the valve stem seals without removing the cylinder head is commonly done on circa 1990s Honda Civics. From looking at an S2000 cylinder head parts diagram, you should be able to do the same on the S2000. Sites that will help in general:

Besides using compressed air to support the valves (so they do not fall into the cylinder, ruining your life, while you are fussing with the valve springs etc.), you can also stuff 1/4-inch nylon rope (ends melted) through the spark plug holes into the cylinder, then rotate the crankshaft to move the piston to TDC or near it, compressing the rope and so supporting the valves. I used the rope method, and it works great.
