Car wont start after transmission swap 99-00 Civic
I just recently finished my transmission swap i have a d15b in my civic with a d16y8 manual tranny the car wont turn and they key gets stuck when i try to turn the car i cant get the key out unless i disconnect the battery i have a p2t 99-00 si computer im running on i was told it would work for this swap so i hope u guys on h-t could help me out
hm, ok. was the car running with that ECU before? what year is the car? i don't see any reason to be running the stock Si ecu from 99-00 as it is for the b16a2. It should still start, but just won't run well.
2000 civic ex was automatic now manual
for some reason i had thought the stock alarm has something to do with it but im unsure

what kind of wirework did you follow? what link is it?
recheck your wires , make sure the clutch safety switch is engaged. make sure your master and slave cylinders pump liquid efficiently, and also make sure you got the right fluids, dot 3 or 4 for the clutch fluid, mtf fluid for the trans

Is this a no crank or no start problem? As mentioned, test whether the clutch switch is activating the starter solenoid.
