what to get in replace of gsr intake manifold
So i got a gsr in my 93 hatch...the motors pretty stock, just has a tune . I'm aware im loosing some power with the stock intake but idk what kind to get or where to get em from...also i want new cams and dont kno where to get them either..... ive only delt with sohc turbo set ups before so im not sure how to go bout all motor builds.. helps greatly appreciated
Honda made the intake the way it is for a reason. Read about the change different lenght/diameter runners make and then decide if that's what you want, and the same information will answer your question of what to get.
i would get the skunk 2 pro series intake manifold.
this kind of works in conjunction with what thumper said, seeing as to how the S2 is basically a slightly tweaked version of the ITR manifold, which obviously isn't an option for your GSR head.

Like forcefedferio said. Skun2 Pro Series Intake Manifold will do you good. As for cams. Just find one off your local craigslist and get some ITR/CTR/B16A cams and you are set to go.
There's a JDM GSR intake manifold without the IABs. Playing with diameters and lengths of runners will affect the power band.
For cams, do some research and find what's best for you. Maybe ITRs are good for you, maybe Crower Stage 3s.
20-EM2-05, B16A cams are less aggressive than GSRs...

s2 is cool, i like blox. those have a design for the upper end of the powerband, the stock manifold benefits for the mid range. wiring the dual runner isn't hard but many people prefer a single runner. i've used both on stock ecu's a long time ago and there isn't much difference, with the exception of a full race manifold that i used. hondata intake manifold gaskets are cool (not considered by me to be a POWER adder but it's nice to have, it can be reused over and over with cooler air temps)
are you looking to get the most power out of a stock motor? are you building it , whats your plans
