so this is the problem i put the swap in i was driving it for two days no problem no cel no anything perfect...then yesterday i went too turn it on ,,it did but after a minute it shut off and it didnt want too turn back on,,,i check for spark and nothing then i notice i cant hear my fuel pump neither,,so i swap the main relay and nothing...i need help no cel neither...the car is obd1 i check the grounds they are all good,,,

 

could be the ignition switch

ya behind the ignition lock (where the key goes in) is the ignition switch. more then half the ef's ive owned had bad ignition switches where it wont give you spark or fuel. or sometimes it works some times it doesnt. theres 2 screws that hold it to the lock and 2 plugs under the steering colum. snag one from a junk yard if you dont got a pile of them laying around.

 

oh a good way to test if it is the switch is turn the key to on but dont start it and see if your getting power at the dizzy. its the thick wire on the 2 wire plug.

 

Okay thanks I'll be checking that asap ...because it used too not want to turn on sometimes with my other swap it will get spark and no fuel then out off no where I'll turn on ...
