Aight, this is what i have gotten as observations from a days work :
-The wipers go slow
-The horn gets softer as the lights go on high beam
-The horn is louder when its on parking lights
-The alarm locks seem to work lie 1/10 mtimes, maybe because of now enough power?
-The car has trouble starting sometimes
-The indiglo lights are dimmer on high beam
Also i have not put in the new radiator/thermostat yet, so when the car starts up, the only guage that works, it goes up to H pretty fast.. but i always turn it off before that..
Its a 91 Honda CRX HF with DOHC ZC engine.

Sounds like battery, Take it to your local parts store and ask them to check if its even operatering fully and they they can tell you if you need another batter or another alternator. If its neither of those. you have a short somwhere.
Alternator...when you start your car...most of your accessories run off of the Alternator...and those are warning signs it might be going bad...have it checked...make sure they test the specific gravity of the acid first, then load test it...because sometimes a bad battery will pass a load test...
Thats your alternator.......I swear....could be a bad battery....but thats easy to check with a volt meter.....
But your alternator help run your accesories.....you can unplug your positive on your battery when the car is running and it will still go......your alternator is a huge amp that keeps spitting out energy for your accesorys.......thats why it runs off a belt....to keep going at all times.....
Your battery just helps supply and store power.......thats all......

when the car is running, unplug the battery, if it still runs, then its battery, if it dies, its the alternator, or it could be both dying, how old are they?

So its a pretty common part? Not like a 500$ thing to install or what not? Would i be able to put it in myself?
Take your alternator off and take it in.......they will check it I gurnatee you its dead......or getting there.....
Then they will give you a replacement one.....either brand new(ouch) or a rebuilt one.....you will get a discount if you give them your core...(your bad alternator)
Your looking at 80-100 dollars.......just make sure you get a good one......my friend and me replaced his alternator in his ford bronco 3 times in one week because we just kept getting bad ones.......so finally they gave us a new one and its worked fine ever sinse.

Well i did a few weird tests.
I started the car up, let it run, then took off the pos side of the battery (red one) and it still ran, so does this mean the alt is ok?
Also i think its the battery because the alarm, i figured out wont work right, like wont open the doors on the first try unless i run the car for a min and let the batt charge up.. then it works fine all the time.
I think because of this, its just the battery, let me know what you think.
Thank you.

Aight cool, i think its really the battery because i turned the car on, let it run, then pulled the pos battery wire off the batt, and the car still ran great. Its just that my horn is weak and my accessories lights and headlights are dim, it think it really has to do with the batt because of the horn.
