ok im wondering with which coilover system is better k sport pro or tiens ss?

 

from what i've read about both, k-sport quality sucks and the teins are overpriced for what you get. you should consider the buddy club n+ or skunk2 pro-c.

 

I'm not all too sure on what you mean by "better." It's all subjective, but the build quality on k-sports are inferior to Teins and I'm not saying Tein is the best out there but in your comparison they're better than K-sports.

tein is overpriced because the grade of vanadium they
use for the springs went up in price.
i've heard nothing but horror stories of shocks on the k-sports blowing

 

fyi, bc and buddy club are 2 different companys. people keep saying bc when they mean buddy club

 

has anyone installed the TEIN Electronic Damping Force Controller with their tein ss coilovers?? what are your opinions on it?

they work perfect as long as you install them right and run the wires correctly. saves you the hassle of getting out and popping your trunk and hood to adjust how the car rides.

 

just sayin'. but yeah i have the n+ myself, well worth the $ so far .

i like it. it's obviously harsher than stock cuz it's stiffer, but since you can adjust both the spring preload and shock stiffness you can make it as soft/comfortable as you want.

 

but bc racing does make coilovers for the 8th gen. so dont say bc if u mean buddyclub

 

at least somebody gets it; most people don't .

 

I'd avoid both of those coilovers if I were you.

What are you looking for? Just slamming it? Or do you want maximum performance? A balance of both?

I have a set on my Mr-S spyder and three of my fellow spyder guys have had theres for a while with no problems.
one friend has had 1yr + w/ no problems.

perhaps some of these failure cases which you have heard include a lot of folks who hit ungodly big potholes or clefts in the road ?
