Fuel pump is too common for a kill switch,

All a thief has to do is bring a 12v dc supply with them and tap onto the pump,

You can put one any where on the car really, id go with breaking a negative wire for one the cars needed parts.

I think you can get like a red kill switch key thingy from Schucks or some auto part store. Pretty much just a quick disconnect from pos/neg for battery. Buddy of mine put one in his car. Just hid it under dash.

Have motion-senor lights in your driveway?

Security camera's are good investment, neighbor runs his off of his computer from his front window.

Sounds like you need to add a hood switch. If you want extra security, add 2 of them. If you want to buy a little bit of time, you could put a bicycle lock on your hood latch ring on the hood itself and have it lock to the radiator support. I'm talking about a cable or chain type bicycle lock. By doing this, they will try to open the hood but be limited how far it will open. It will be hard to get to the battery to disconnect and the alarm will be going off since you have hood pin switch(es).

Kill switches that are pretty effective are:

1. Fuel cut but wire it in UNDER the access cover. That way, if a thief tries to wire the pump, it still won't work.
2. Ignition cut. Interrupt the distributor power feed anywhere en-route to the distributor.
3. Main relay cut.
4. ECU power cut (just interrupt switched ignition.
5. Dummy ECU (it takes a little time but put an ECU in the car that only has the connectors. Cut the board off of a bad ECU.
6. Make your ECU where it has to be YOUR ECU to start the car. Move a power input to an unused pin on the ECU. Cut the normal power feed pin and solder a wire between your pin and the correct one. By moving the power, if they try another ECU, it will not work.
7. Battery backup on your alarm. even if they cut your battery cable, the backup battery will sense this and automatically set off your siren.
