Default Identifying the technical term for a part

I'm an Engineering student and I am working on designing a traction bar for a personal project. I have searched and searched and I cannot figure out the actual name for what most people car a "radius rod".

Basically I want to find somewhere that I can by the adjustable internally threaded rod, I have found countless places with the spherical ends.

Any help would be appreciated!

I've seen people weld the ends onto a regular rod to have just the right length

All the local domestic/muscle car speed shops here have bins of those. Those guys are always making custom suspension parts for back-half cars.

yeah it's nice when you have a huge dirt track following around your area, makes finding pretty much anything like this easy in town.
