Default Wheel Hub Assembly Question

I need to replace the rear wheel bearings on my car, and I found a complete hub assembly for a pretty good price. From the pics, it looks like the wheel bearing is there but they don't state it's included. Is it too cheap for the wheel bearing to be included for that price?
Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Wheel Hub Assembly Question

The web site sells parts made in China. A lot of good stuff is made in China. However, I would be very careful with this one because the majority of hub/bearing assemblies are priced much higher than $35.00. It will be a 50-50 chance that it can failed prematurely. Unless you do not mind the time taking the entire front hub/rotor apart again. This is not only my opinion but many many on auto DYI web sites. I have no experience dealing with this particular company.

Some also blame the bearing supplier for selling inferior parts, which can be true. However, according to some web posters, putting the bearing back improperly is also a major cause of early wheel bearing failure. Just to be fair to the suppliers.

At least if you get an good quality one, then you will not have to second guess what the problem is when you encounter a short bearing life.

You may want to share how you plan to put the bearings back together, especially the tools you will be using to disassemble and assemble them back

I just posted "Wheel bearings on hydraulic press how to" to discuss some of the challenges, even with a press at home. You may get some ideas from there.

good luck
