Blown fuse and melted wire, sounds like you had/have a short.

You'll need to do electrical troubleshooting here, and identify exactly what shorted, and what else the short took out with it.

alrite heres the story i just put in a motor and connected everything but there was one connector that was broken (thermostat housing sensor) i must have plugged it in backward ...after everything was alset i put the termals on and noticed smoke come from the (TH) and my guage cluster. so i pulled off the termials checked out wat was goin on ...today i pulled my cluster and seen a wire melted onto another one so i undid them and taped them up and i swapped out the fuse that was blown. it was one of the bigger fuses (40)...after all that i put my cluster back and put on the termials and then here i am ...which is no power to anything ..battery is good tested it 100 times ..and its getting power to all the fuses ..

wow that could be a 100 dif things. all you can do is start checking the power on every thing in that fuse box. unfortunatly you might just have to go new harness, new fuse box, maybe even new ecu. if you dont feel like really digging in thats your onlyn way. i put my xsi motor in my old ef. the electical problems unfortunatly cause me to just sell the whole damn car. minus the motor. kind of a mistake when i think back.
