I have a 92 eh hatch with a 95 gsr motor .When I stomp on it and the vtec hits I smell burning oil . I fixed all the leaks(cam seal,and v tec seal) the motor does not show any signs of leaks on the out side .Burnt rings maybe ?any other thoughts

 

it may be residual oil from your previous leaks.

other than that it may be burning it, especially if its most dominant when vtec engages. unless it's a massive amount of oil being burned, i'd say a quart or more a week, then you have nothing to worry about. it's a honda thing.

 

thanks yeah its only when he vtec hits ,it does not smell any other time.
