Hi guys! Fuel pump won't cut on =[
So, I was hooking up the electric fans yesterday [1988 ef hatchback d15b2]. I decided (like an idiot) to bumb off one of the wires off one of the main harnesses, the on next to the drive side shock tower. I belive the wire was black with yellow stripe, and it had power when key was on.
So, after I did that, car wouldnt start. Then I noticed the fuel pump wasnt kicking on!
I looked it up on all data, And it looks like the PGM/main relay thats located near the drive left knee controls the ecu and the fuel pump.
I had changed out that relay today and still nothing...
Is it possible i fried my ecu? or fuel pump?
I noticed there was no fuel pump fuse...
Any help is appreciated guys!
And yes, i tried doing a search, but honestly, didnt see much, just a lot of no starts that really didnt have to do with over powering anything like i did i think..

so you disconnected your (fan) wiring and soldered and wrapped the wire on the main harness back together, correct?
and whats the deal with no fuel pump fuse? has it always run without it?
if i were you i would track down a digital multimeter and a helm manual and start troubleshooting.
you might try another ecu if its free or really cheap. Its hard to say exactly what you might have done but i'm guessing you did fry something like the pump or the wiring. find out what wire you did tap into and that should help to lead you in the right direction.

main relay is controlled by fuse #37 in main underhood fuse box - it is 4th fuse from the top on the right side of the box - also controlled by fuse #14 in underdash fuse box
