Default HELP

Okay So heres a detailed break down on my story..

Bought a 1989 honda civic NO RUST and only a blown headgasket, And it's been sitting for 9 months.

So i tear it apart.. machine shop okays the head and block for levelness. and I get a new grafite headgasket. Put it in.. and the thing is a SNOT to start.

Get it started.. and she is smoking.. so i'm wondering WHY on F#(K are you smoking.. So i check my oil.. and it's oil.. i check my coolant and it's coolant.. i check my temp and it's running a little colder then normal*maybe 2 degrees*

So i figure out it's my lower spark plug gaskets.. So i take my rocker assembly off and put it back on* I DIDN"T MOVE OR CRANK THE CAR WHEN IT WAS OFF..

Now i put the rocker assembly back on.. and i do criss cross pattern on putting it back together.. torque her down.. then i do my valve lash and she won't fire.. JUST CRANK AND CRANK AND CRANK AND CRANK AND CRANK!...

What did i do wrong.. i'm going up the wall!

ok if your car was running and not running now.... i would check your firing order if thats right put a spark plug in each spark plug wire have a friend try 2 start your car and check each one for spark if you dont have spark on each wire look at the components in your distributor(meaning youll have to buy something in the distributor) buttt if your spark is good check your fuel see if you have fuel pressure.... if not something from your fuel injectors to your fuel pump needs replaced....and also check all your fuses other ...you jus need to eliminate all the things that are ok and look into the things that are bad........and for your smoking problems if its out of the exhaust i would say its your rings most likely

Okay.. SO i went and got a new dizzy.. And it doesn't throw codes now.. But i'm wondering..could the cam have spun 180 degrees itself when the guy at the shop tighteed it to much and when he cranked it over it made ugly noise and could BARELY turn her had it so tight? There is fuel being sprayed out of the intake when cranking.
