Noob alarm fuel relay question????

Noob alarm fuel relay question????
All the tutorials use a spdt 20/30a relay. But I have a dei 610t 30/40a relay, is this ok to use? The numbers are switched a little. 
So would back fuel pump wire go to 87 instead? And the others remain the same. 30 to fuel pump dash, looped to 86. And 85 to the dei's orange wire? 87a not being used? Thanks
