Headgasket/Head damage.

When your cooling system is leaking like that NEVER drive the car. The temp gauge cannot read coolant temp when there are huge bubbles in the system.

most likely head gasket.. youre getting coolant in your cylinders and its fouling your plugs. just got done fixing the same problem on my car (except i would never run my car hot). i didnt torque the head bolts down correctly..

yea if it smokes a butt load and its hard to start water is getting in the cylinders and from my experience water doesnt explode to well so that would cause the hard start but replace the head gasket make sure its done right and if it still does the same look into a new head but like my man said its hard to warp honda heads
