Default Car Dies Out

So recently, my car has been "dying" out or starting odd.

I was at the gas station awhile back and the car just didn't start after i pumped. It would fire but then immediately would die out after I let the key go. Yenno, the engine fire after I started it but immediately the car would die out. I looked around and sure none of the wires were unplugged or anything. Eventually, the car started to work again.

Now every so often, the car will do the same thing.

Last night was a different story, I started driving and the engine just turned off on me in the middle of the road. I popped it into the a parking lot on the road and I heard this weird noise *note, my car is gutted in the back so I can hear the fuel tank lines etc*.. kinda like seeping or of some sort. At first, I thought possibly the car alternator was going but now I'm thinking it's more a vacuum line leak somewhere. Especially when my car will sometimes idle at 1500 but go down to the normal idle at a little under 1k.

Anywaysss, idea would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I'll go take a video later hopefully if I can.

Civic 90 DX, with OG d15b2 with only ~128k miles.

First thing I would check is the ign. switch...

Engine starting and then stalling as soon as ign. key is released from start position is a symptom of a defective ign. switch.

Check for power on the black/yellow lead at ign. switch harness, [when engine stalls].
Also look for instrument cluster "turning off", [when engine stalls]. 94

Possibly main relay also?

Last night was weird, I was getting groceries and then I started the car and she started fine. Then I threw it in R and the car died on me again.. after awhile it just started working again. It was realllyyy weird.

This morning.. first cold start.. starts fine. Twice. I'm gonna post a video soon of what it keeps doing.

So earlier, it was starting fine and everything. Here's a video to show you the first start up after driving it down to the grocery store. This is heading back home after car is warmed up and all...

Please give me some opinions. Thanks.

Yes, it may also be a problem with the PGM-FI Main Relay.

When troubleshooting an electrical issue you have to start at one end and work your way "downstream".

Have you checked to see if you have output from the ign. switch, [black/yellow] yet? 94
