Monte Carlo Blue Pearl was a stock color available on the 1997-1999 NSX. It doesn't photograph well; in the photos above, taken on a cloudy day, it appears almost black. In person, it depends on the lighting; in somewhat dim lighting, it can indeed appear almost black, but in direct sunlight, it's a bit lighter than a navy blue.

Here are a couple of photos of Monte Carlo Blue Pearl NSXs:

thanks guys! please dont call this rice cuz it aint! lol i just hate wen ppl say that about my car.

the paint: ya i was looking for a CW ITR wen i was in the market back then but came across this car on craigslist and saw it had a mugen kit. the previous owner had no clue wat mugen was cuz he just purchased this car thru a mercedes auction. checked it out and payed him the next day. clean title no accidents except for a couple minor theft claims.

the kit: true it might be alil out there flashy, thats how i thought of it wen i saw it cuz im not a fan of big wings but hey the kit brand new cost a gsr nowadays so why not plus its actually functional. my kit and color makes me the only one up here but ya id rather have the stock jdm front and optional oem kit.

From my knowledge, the 1st owner was owner of nvautoplus in richmond, bc. this car was full of sheep dog parts. he sprayed the car himself taking everything off the car to its shell to paint it this color, glass frames, door sills, inside the trunk, everthing! the only thing white i found is the engine bay and behind the license plate holders.
Apparently the car was a legend back then. If any1 knows this car more than wat i have info on pls enlighten me

but ya this is me and cant say i dont love my car

o and the wheels are atech finalspeed erasers

What do you mean when you say it "was full of sheep dog parts"? I know what parts my sheep dogs have , but it sounds like you're referring to something about cars, and I'm not familiar with that term.
