Tein suspension for ITR
nice suspension, watch for rust. I believe they are 14 way dampning adjustable (the HA) the HA's have a suggested maintenence schedule i didnt want to follow
the suggestion is to go with another suspension for instance zeal b6 unless its a track car. I would not suggest the tein HA's for daily drivers.
if you told us which tein you were thinking of going with that would help alot.

Get the RA or higher model, then you don't have to worry about rust!!
Great ride quality and improved handling are the major concerns. I don't race nor hard driving a lot. The ITR is my daily driven car, so I don't want to feel bumpy everyday to/from work
my budget is around 1000-1400. what is the best suggestion?

the HA's is the complete coilover system which are revered much higher quality than the RA. I think the RA are cheaper with no damperning adjustability.

i got the superstreets and i love them. you can rebuild them for 75bucks a piece and you dont have to ship them out of the country liek Zeals. at well under a grnad i think they are a great street, and ocassional track coilover. if your more seriosu about racing, maybe get some stiffer ones, but the SS on level 16 is plenty stiff for me

You had that wrong Soup ****. RA, RE and RS are the monotube, all-aluminum, higher end models than the HA (twin tube, steel body). The next step up would be the N1.

HA's and RA's are exactly the same except like Wai said the RA's are made of lightweight aluminum and the upperpillow ball mounts are standard. HA's don't come with upperpillow ball mounts. i have the HA's and i love em.

Besides the material used (aluminum vs steel) and upper pillow mounts, HA and RA have totally different internal designs.
HA - 35mm diameter valve, twin-tube design (lowly pressurized, fluid and air are in direct contact)
RA/RE - 45mm diameter valve, mono-tube design (highly pressurized, fluid and air inside are separated by a movable piston)
RA and RE have identical internal design. The only difference is that the RE has 2 sets of threads on the shock body; one for spring preload, one for total shock length. So RE is a bit more expensive.
Next step up would be the RS with remote reservoir; top of the line would be the N1 with 20 levels of adjustability.
P.S. I don't work for Tein, just did some research on their model lineup when I planned my suspension upgrade.
Tein HA w/ upper pillow mount =
When the setting is on 1 it is just a little bit stiffer/bumpier than stock, put them up to 16, and you'll feel every crack in the road. Tein sells special rust proof spray that basically eliminates any chance of rust, or you can use wd-40. I got my tein HA's w/ pillow mounts for about $800 brand new, never used. For that amount of money, i dont think anything else can do better

I have had the HA's for a year and 5 months with no rust and no problems. Been on the track twice and 2 seaons of Auto-X. SS's are a great option for someon that wants a complete set at an affordable price. If you have a $1500 budget I would get Zeal Function B6's.
