What would cause these codes to come on at the same time? plz help

P1298 Electrical Load Detector Circuit High Input
P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction

 

Is fuse #15 under the dash blown? If so, read this TSB.

 

nope the fuse is ok. Any other ideas? Anyone plz

 

Do you know where the fuse is? Did you replace the fuse with a known good one?

All four sensors throwing those codes are protected by 7.5A fuse 15 under the dash. Check again.

 

So i would have to check all the 7.5 fuses? Or it would have to be a 15 fuse?

 

check the NUMBER 15 fuse

its a 7.5 AMP fuse

replace it with a good 7.5 AMP fuse

 

Fuse 15 is a 7.5A fuse. The dash fuse box has numbers printed on it where each fuse inserts. Match the number 15 to the 7.5A fuse.

ok i just looked at it and i dont know why but there was no fuse there. So im resetting the ECU and im turn on the car and see if the codes disappear

 

What year/model Civic?

After installing a new 7.5A fuse and resetting the ECU, if the CEL turns on again and the same codes are thrown, then check whether 7.5A fuse 15 has blown. If so, take the car to a good mechanic who can repair the wire harness short described in the TSB that I posted.

 

Well once again i seem to have missplace a fuse and proven to myself that im not all that bright , but some how im going to learn from this. Thanks guys you've been a really big help. Its folks like you that make me come back to Honda-tech.com all day everyday
