i just picked up this eg, and for some reason it doesn't have rear drive lights when i turn on my HL. it also doesn't have guage lights...when the parking lights are on though everything works just when i put the lights on all the way. wireing was done bad. just re-did it thinking
it might help but nope still no lights...any suggestions... i've checked the fuses under the D/S dash. and under the hood by the bat. I have checked connections in the rear and when i turn them on all the way no power runs though the wire except when in park..

thinking a short or something somehwere but idk where to start...any suggestions?

 

you can check the bulbs.
im not sure about your car.
but some bulbs work like 2 in 1.
so one of the filaments in the bulbs might be broken.

make sure none of the wires are exposed.
just maybe!!

checked them..still nothing

now woke up this morning for work and car won't start...crank but won't start...

idk wtf to do now

 

Most likely a bad light switch on the steering column.

 

kk how much do those run?

and whats the best way to trouble shoot it?
