i just bought a gsr and i was driving down the road and it just shut clean off...no sputter or nothing? i disconnected the battery terminal to reset the computer but it didnt do anything. The engine turns over fine when you crank it, it just isnt catching at all? can u give me some tips or tests to run?

 

Most likely your main fuel relay. The part is around $60, easy fix right under the dash. I had the same problem - it would shut off and wouldn't start for another 15 minutes (it would crank, but no start). Replaced the relay and no problems now.

 

check if your getting fuel, spark, first
