i bought a motor off a freind who bought a hatch that would not start. The motor was suppose to be set up for boost the oil pan was already tapped and the block had been hot tanked. I can tell the cyl walls have been honed and i believe this block does have vitara pistons. the carbon wiped right off so i can tell they are not very old. Thanks alot!

any ideas as to what these are? There are no stampings or anything

 

I have the vitara pistons and no those dont look like mine.

 

They look like SRP pistons..

What engine is it?

 

best way to find out is to take your oil pan off haha

 

it is a d16a6 i thought they were aftermarket as they have no markings on the pistons anywhere and i know most honda pistons are stamped.

 

i tore the block apart and its all new oem. thanks for everyones help. Vitara build here i come!
