b16 clutch on s1 transmission

Default b16 clutch on s1 transmission

my swap's b16 lsd tranny(cable) has went out on me, and i picked up a s1 tranny from a 91 integra, now what do i need for this swap? will my clutches from the b16 tranny fit on the s1? i hope i dont need to buy anything else.. my clutch has only a few hun miles on it, and will my lsd fit into the s1?

They are the same thing other than gear ratios.

You will be fine.

I am assuming you are going to do the installation yourself. So the answer depends on how much wrench skill you have? Good Luck.

i worked as a mechanics helper in a garage for 2 years so i have some experience, and i also put the engine/tranny into my civic myself.. ive rebuilt several small engines(mainly 2 stroke).. so im not a mechanical idiot id just like to know if theres anything i can mess up and anything i would need to modify, ive heared sometimes the case needs to be grinded for the lsd to fit

When installing my quaife lsd in my y1 cable tranny I had to do lots of grinding and the case is very thin in some spots. Have not had any problems as of 2 years of driving, about 15,000 miles. If you do have to grind the case, do many many test fits to ensure you dont grind to much.

no i mean the lsd im putting in the s1 is a oem lsd
