Default Engine bogging at acceleration on Dohc ZC

I put a ZC in my crx, and it runs great. There is just one problem- If I peg the gas, there is about 1sec hesitation or bogging. Timming is right, cold air intake, and a 89 integra computer. Could this be the computer? Could this be the stock CRX dx exhaust, choking the engine? I fooled with the throttle linkage(which is new CRX Si) and that is definitely not the problem. Any help please, this is a rally car, and I would like to have it sorted before The Black River Stages. Thanks Sean Burke

could it be the hf transmission from the original 91crx the gears seem to be crazy long and no real torque at the wheels?

you should ask that question in the 92-2000 civic forum since this forum only relates to 88-91 civic/crx.
