Could a bad clutch cause wheel hop when trying to burn out with Nitto DRs? I took my car out to the track this weekend (First Time) and I was getting lot of wheel hop when doing my burn out. I was told to rev up to 6k and drop the clutch to get the tires spinning and get a good burn out. I also have a bad throw out bearing that is getting fixed.

 

Clutch could be it, but chances are it's your alignment, too much air in the tires, or your car is too low. Could also be bad motor mounts.
