so i got new tires today on my 17's, i took my old tires with the rims on to a shop around here and got the rims on the new tires. all of them are fine, except when i had first put them on, the front left on made a leaking noise while driving, it was like a pschh pschh every couple seconds and when i was driving faster i could hear it but it wasnt as much air escaping and it was faster, i parked it at my house and when i came home tonight, my tire is basically flat, not totally but its at about 12 psi. anyone have any ideas of what the problem is? this is a brand new tire and the rim doesnt look bent or anything
bad valve maybe, fill with air then get the hose and see where its leaking, It will probably be best to do this with the tire off the car

yeah, use some soapy water to wet it down after you over inflate it a bit. the liquid will bubble over the leak. sometimes the bead will leak on a newly mounted tire. i bought my car with 17s on it and i used to pop the front tires loose all the time, air them back up and be good for another week or so.
As noted above, with a new tire, it's most likely to be the valve, or possibly the bead, rather than a puncture. But the soapy water test should find it wherever it is.
odds are it is not the valve stem there is a good possibility that it is the bead of the tire if it is have them put some bead sealer on the the bead and reinstall the tire
