Cracked Sidewall on my tire. Help!!
I went and got my oil changed today, and as part of the service, they inspect all sorts of things, one thing being the tires.
I saw that my inside sidewall on my front right tire was cracked. It has always been on the inside, b/c i have directional tires, so I am pretty sure it didnt crack from the sun.
It is a pretty decent sized crack, but when i poured soapy water on it, no bubbles were coming out.
Here is a pic of the crack.

What should i do?? Can I use that "slime" tire stuff on this, or do I have to buy a new tire.
I have to put air in this tire about once a month, so I know it is losing air very slowly.
Thanks for the help!!

If it is a faulty tire, can I get it replaced for free or something. I have only had it for around 8k miles.

Re: Cracked Sidewall on my tire. Help!! (acuracing)
depends on if you have certificates when you bought the tire, I work for Discount Tire and those certificates are life savers.
When I used to have my Nitto NT450's (shitty) I had an impact break (bubble in sidewall) evey 6 motnhs or so...but I paid $13 for a new certificate for the new tire and thats it.
So it all depends on what extras you bought. I HIGHLY suggest anyone tha uses low profile tires get certificates, they will save you so much money.
