Default 91 accord distributor vs. 92 accord distributor

I swaped my 91 accord motor the other day and i tried to use a 92 accord distributor. I kept my 91 accord engine harness. But on my 91 accord i don't have a harness for the center wire of the 92 accord distributor. So is there a difference between the two distributor? Do i have to get a 91 distributor for my motor to start? I would be thankful if someone could give me an answer.

there are also distributor adapters available i believe just check on rywire.com and it should be in distributor adapters thats what i think anyways you could go and buy a whole new distributor but if your current one fits on the engine i say buy a adapter it's about 30 dollars

Yes and yes; you need a '90-91 distributor. '90-91 distributors are wired for a pre-OBD system, and also use an internal ignition coil. '92-93 distributors are OBD-1 and use an external coil.
